Open Positions on FB Staff?

If he is going to be a volunteer why resign from your permanent head coaching job? I could see him helping in the summer.

I didn't read this entire thread, but this from footballscoop

Iowa State: We hear that Central Missouri grad assistant Kevin Bleil has taken the offensive grad assistant job with the Cyclones.
Bill's son?

Bill's son?

Yes:

Football :: Coaching Staff : University of Central Missouri Athletics - Mules & Jennies

His parents now reside in Ames, Iowa. His father, Bill, is the Offensive Line Coach at Iowa State University.

-----------

Kevin Bleil is in his second season with the Mules coaching staff, coming to UCM after graduating from the University of Akron (Ohio).

An offensive staffer, he will be coaching the tight ends. During his senior year at Akron he worked as a student assistant with the football program, aiding primarily the defense, special teams, and recruiting efforts. While there, he was also a three-year member of the baseball team as a walk-on.

He attended South Fayette High School (Penn.), where he earned all-district honors in both football and baseball as a senior. Bleil was a three year letterman in baseball and two year letterman in football.

His parents now reside in Ames, Iowa. His father, Bill, is the Offensive Line Coach at Iowa State University.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is currently working toward his master’s degree in sports and business administration at UCM.

For the people freaking out about recruiting ties in Texas..... we currently have 2 people that have ties and recruit Texas. Coach Bray and Coach Pope. Next position filled will be a guy with cali ties. I'm sure Rhoads feels confident enough in his recruiters that he could afford to get a teacher to develop the recruits.

Doesn't sound the worst to me. Kirk has been trying to get him and Iowa appears to know a thing or two about defense. He played DB and was good. Sounds like he was just at an awful doesn't care type of school, and on top of that he was too smart with the schemes he wanted to run at the HS level. Oh and CPR will always have a hand in with our DB's anyways... since that's his biggest area of expertise.

"I can tell you that's false. That's definitely false." -Womochil on ISU rumors

Womochil resigns at Jeff; denies ISU talk

As someone familiar with MVC high school football, I didn't believe these rumors for one second and I am very happy to see this quote from him.

This is a guy who is saying that he might be willing to come back to Jefferson to coach the freshman team. He's getting forced out from his high school, there is no chance that we are taking him onto a Big 12 staff.

Technically, he only denied the DB coaching position not any volunteer or GA positions. Not saying that means he'll end up here but the door isn't completely closed with that partial quote.

I could care less if he comes on as a GA or volunteer, just don't think he has the resume for a position coach at this level.

Womo will be a volunteer coach. The volunteer coach from this past year won't be back for next year, and Womo is taking the position in hopes of breaking into the college ranks.

I'm going to trust this guy. Six posts since 2009, all about CPR's staff, all have been accurate. I trust that CPR didn't hire a HS coach from Iowa to be ISU's new WR or DB coach and recruiting coordinator.

This guy had a name change. He showed up not to long after Rhoads was hired and went by the name mrscoach. Whether it is true or not, got to lean toward his (cough), her info to be correct.

It could be part of the staff too. I know for a fact that a couple of the coaches have screen names on here and have posted occasionally.
