Oof. Hawk fans gonna be on suicide watch

"AAU ball"...you sound like my 68 year old dad
You don’t see a difference in taking your kids to AAU tourneys to how JH and JS games are officiated? How the scouts deal with you and your kids there compared to JH/HS games. In Iowa, maybe not as much but go to the TCs, Chicago, Milwaukee and it is totally different.

Very tough 4 days for Hawks and local media and kxno.
Two teams bound for elite 8 and possibly final 4, get beat in early rounds because of new ball, bad officials (on sold out arena home floor), and former player.

It was just a joke

Okay. Sorry, I got really turned off from AAU with the crap they did and how they completely turned the game to something different. Seems 90% of the leagues are a way to make money and 10% at best is to assist skills.

It's been a complaint for a long time. I can't imagine what it's like now with all of the clubs and programs. We had a local team with good coaches and some good players. If you find a good coach, it can be a valuable experience, but parents were nuts then, and I'm sure worse now.

Because your whole foot moves. When you pivot 180 degrees, no part of your foot is over the same part where your foot was. Pivoting is allowed on the balls of your feet. When you do that, your foot just turns and most of your foot is over the top of your old foot print.

Had a teammate, who our coach had to bench since he got called for travels in consecutive games many times for it. Spent a week working on his pivoting to stop the travels.

Sorry, but this doesn't make much sense. You gain more of an advantage from pivoting on the ball of your foot, which is why it's taught that way. I can't find any rule that says you can't pivot on your heel.

Ok, let's get this back on track. 2 wins for ISU, and this is an all-time weekend for me. I was surprised how invested I was in the Iowa women losing. That was pretty fun.

I think it was the idea of 15,000 Iowa fans on their last hope and having them dashed in such heartbreaking fashion. And Clark going 4-19.

Because it’s physically impossible to do.

Seemed like the Creighton guards played Clark tight enough that she couldn’t get her arm up enough to push off. It looked like they scouted our game against them and played them like we did.

Clark was 4 for 19 from the field with 1 basket in the second half. Reminds me of Keegan Murray's performance against Iowa State.

Also, the tweet above mentioned 15,000 Hawkeye fans at the game. No way. Just listen to the huge roar when Creighton hit the game winning shot.
