Really weird story. Love that UI continues to spread egg all over their face in the news, but this girl's testimony is very odd. Very easy to pinpoint elements that were embellished and very poor decision making. Who's to say this girl wasn't just homesick and jumped at the first chance to be closer to mom and dad again, citing less then ideal quarantine conditions as an excuse?

My freshman year at ISU was the year of the H1N1 pandemic, and they were quarantining people in Towers. I know someone who had to go there. They brought you your meals, but it was all 'proper' portions. THAT sounds like my hell.

I'm wondering about the bed. She said she slept on the floor so she wouldn't fall out of the chair, was there no bed in the room? That would be even worse than a jail cell.
