***Official Week 1 NFL Thread***

Jags doing their best ISU impression. Had their foot on the throat of the Eagles but can't do anything in the 2nd half.

The Chiefs have lost Derrick Johnson and Mike DeVito with apparent torn achilles. Fack!

I'm thinking of trying to be a Vikings fan this year, since it's pretty clear the Chiefs have reverted to their 2012 team.

I don't think the Vikings D is this good. Rams were on their 3rd QB the whole 2nd half.

Vikings O looked passable and at least a major upgrade from last year though.

Yeah, holding the Rams offense to 6 points is not a huge deal, although Minnesota's defense from last year was terrible, so holding any team to 6 points is a dramatic improvement. But, the Rams defense is legit. Hanging 34 on them is very encouraging.

That was also without a ton of Adrian Peterson.

Not to mention, the Rams have arguably the best D-Line in football, and the Vikes gave up only 1 sack and ran for almost 200 yards.

NFC North Standings
1 - Vikings (1-0)
2 - Lions (0-0)
T-Last - Bears (0-1)
T-Last - Packers (0-1)

I'm not getting my hopes up, but things are looking good with Zimmerman and Turner.

yeah, I'm under no illusions. They'll lose plenty of games this year, but a dominating win on the road in game 1? I'll gladly take that.
