***Official Week 1 NFL Thread***

This is becoming a beatdown. Green Bay's defense is really bad.
Defense isn't great, but I felt they had their backs against the wall most of the game and the offense put them in some bad positions. ILB play is easily the worst on that defense followed by DT. I really like the secondary for the most part though.

I've never understood a Vikings fan obsession with grasping at straws to take a shot at Green Bay? Congratulations your team hasn't lost to a Shaun Hill-led team yet? Please enlighten.

As a person that went to school with people primarily from Minnesota and Wisconsin I can assure you it's a two way street. If my Facebook feed is any indication I would also wager that Packer fans take more shots at the Vikings and are teetering on the brink of obsession with Jay Cutler.

Green bay fans blow.

As a Green Bay fan I just don't get as giddy abut a Vikings loss as they seem to about a Packers loss. Might be because the Vikings are usually a non factor anyways and losses come frequently for them.

Green Bay fans are the Hawkeye fans of the NFL.

They did it the past 2 seasons too, when the Packers got off to sluggish starts. Then the Packers went on to win the division both times. So be glad they blew their load last night; the rest of the season will be OK.

ESPN crucifying the Packers this morning for refusing to throw at Sherman once. Pretty gutless of the Packers considering they have a top 5 QB in the league

What exactly do I need to know about the Packers game last night? I didnt see any of the game last night because I was at work.

Pretty gutless of the Seahawks to have Sherman line up on our best receiver once the entire game.

- ILB play is as bad as ever
- Losing Raji will hurt mainly because the guys filling in are horrible
- Zero OL depth
- Green Bay secondary looks improved, Haha Clinton Dix looks good for his first game. Tramon Williams played surprisingly well
- Seahawks still look like they are the team to beat this year

The Seahawks don't flip their corners. Collinsworth said it about 100 times. It was gutless of the Packers to never throw to his side of the field.

He's going to be really good. He really impressed me last night.
