These roughing the passer calls are horrific

I have a really tough time calling roughing the passer when he's still got his hand on the ball when wrapped up.

What exactly do the rule makers/officials want the defender to do? Levitate so their body weight doesn’t land on the QB?

That was a literally perfect hit by Ellis - perfectly timed, he lifted his arms as they came to the ground. If that’s a penalty, then the rule is wrong.

Here’s a question, could the staff really not see in camp how far more ready and poised Rocco was?

I think Kohl moved the ball a little farther than Rocco did on his first two.

That's how you have to sack the QB now, just push him down.

Careful though, it can't be more than a millisecond after he throws the ball.

Worst thing about that BS roughing call is it won't affect this game. But that same call in a tight game is an absolute KILLER.
