I'd like to see that 13, no water involved on this course, what the hell could happen to make a pro 8 over on one hole?

I think I'm reading the Leaderboard correctly; Golf Analyst, David Duval, who is pretty much retired, is +14 after 13-holes.

Yes you're reading that correctly. He's through 14 now.

In my golf playing days I would have killed to be +14 after 14 holes on a course like this.

Duval isn’t exactly a “pro” anymore. He’s only in the tournament because he’s a past champion, and has an exemption because of it.

What happened with Duval is what nightmares are made of. For a while, he was unbeatable. Had a stretch where he was the best golfer in the world, and it wasn’t even close. He was blowing the doors off of entire fields.

Then one day...the shanks...and BAD! His issue had nothing to do with any physical limitations. Was 100% mental, never to be heard of again, except on the booth.

Kind of sad, really.

Rory might not make the cut. I think the pressure of trying to win in his own country got to him.

That was why I stayed away from him in my DFS lineup. He's obviously one of the best in the world, but the kind of pressure being put on him to win would be difficult for anyone to handle.

We live just outside of Belfast and Northern Ireland is seriously the most despressing area, weather wise. Sun peaks out for 20 minutes if you are lucky, you try to do something but then you get poured on.

That said the coastal areas are gorgeous and actually reminds me of NE Iowa, just more rain.

My wife will be drinking with a bunch of old dudes on the #1 tee tomorrow. "Corporate outing".

We're pretty much exact opposite. If there's an inch of rain people take the day off work and tell each other "stay dry". Seriously, people say "stay dry".
