***Official Post Game Thread - ISU vs. Nebraska***

Damn, that one stings, looking at the schedule again, just not a lot of wins on there, needed that one. Oh well, try to get better and move on.

I hope to never see that stall/DG iso offense at the end of a close game again. I knew we were in big trouble then. We didn't even come close to getting decent shots out of that on those two possessions.

I'll pay any of our fans good cash if they shot that damn blow-up doll Husker mascot on the way out of that joint.

Here you go:

Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers.

Did I say it enough? Good to know we can still lose games in the most heartbreaking way possible. I ******* hate losing like this, and I hate Nebraska. Go to hell.

Not blaming Scotty, but if he is healthy we win. That or more depth. Oh well they showed some character and young mistakes. Either way They stuck with um.

I am bothered most by taking the air out of the ball up 4 with 2+ minutes left. I think unless you are up 2+ possesions with under 2 minutes left, you need to stay in the offense that got you the lead. Otherwise, you get passive and end up with poor shots at the end of the shot clock. It is very hard to put your foot back on the gas when it has been off for so long.

Great effort--all 3 losses this year are the kind that you feel could have been wins. Painful, but I think we all would have taken that at the start of the year, no?

This should officially end any talk, for the time being, of being a bubble team.

Probably should end speculation about NIT hopes, too, but it's too soon to tell.

Why? I don't expect them to be a bubble team, but I won't give up hope on it.

I just checked outside, and 1 point road loss in the first game of the Big 12 season probably didn't make the sky fall.

Nebraska's last field goal of the game came with 7:13 left on a layup by mccray to put them up by 3...that is not a misprint.

Every point they scored after that was on free throws. There is NO WAY we should've lost this game. Great effort but mental mistakes, and very iffy officiating down the stretch cost us.

A team should not be able to score their last field goal of the game with over 7minutes left to put them up by 3 and not only win...but rally to win...unbelievable.

If any blame should be passed out, give it to Railey. We could have really used another big body tonight for a few spot minutes. Could have made the difference.

Don't know if this was already said...but I have a big beef with Garrett taking the ball out with 6 seconds left. Especially when the plan was to just get it back to him. That is where the play broke down.

Whatever....We need to learn from this and now steal a game somewhere else (baylor or KSU at home)

Disappointed in the loss, not the effort, at the end Edge should have taken the open 3 instead of giving the ball back to DG. Way too many shots by guards swatted by the big guys tonight.
