Official Post-Game Meltdown - You Post Here

Do we pull for a scorched-earth tournament now and just root for every possible upset, even against Big XII? I don't think I can actually root for a favored team here on out.
 
When your 4 man refuses to put out maximum effort on the defensive end and in rebounding, teams like this will give you trouble. Then when you're other rebounder is in foul trouble, you are really in trouble. Then when your best shooter doesn't shoot well it's more trouble and when one of your best scorers has more turnovers than buckets, it's more trouble. All year this team couldn't be trusted because they weren't consistent. Two bad halves finally got strung together and this happens. I'm not really all that surprised that a team like UAB was able to beat them. It sucks to say and I feel bad that it isn't a very supportive statement but this team didn't want it bad enough today. Everything that made them so great at times is what made them so bad at times.
 
Issues -
Lack of leadership on team.
End game coaching - this has been a problem on more than one occasion.

This really shouldn't surprise Cyclone Nation. We finally ran into a team that wanted it more and would not fold.

Agreed. Mark it down. If Iowa State ever gets a #1 they WILL be the first to lose in the first round. Guaranteed.

Hoiball needs major modifications for next year. I would rather watch a 40-39 game with us taking care of the basketball to get good shots and rebounding like LE used to preach, then the one and one and heave threes when you are not making them. Our defense was horrible all year.

I'm rooting for Georgetown. Everyone thinks they were overseeded so let's do this ******* thing.
 
Yikes on Georges in the second half today. Just kept trying to ride his play when he clearly didn't have his normal touch for shots. That and **** poor rebounding doomed the team.
 
your kidding right, there were multiple games were they truly didnt give a rip and went through the motions, if you didnt catch that your probably not that knowledgeable about the game.

Need more big upsets to take the attention off us. Come on Georgia St.!
 
What the freak was Georges thinking most of this game. Just like the @Baylor game when he decided to "win it" himself when he had 3 guys open...

"I'll just drive into 3 trees and hope for a foul"...


STUPID.
 
Honestly, it seemed like we couldn't depend on anyone except McKay for rebounds. We didn't have a cocky don't give a **** shooter good enough to destroy teams.

Doesn't make any sense. Was he being punished or something? Haven't heard anything yet but something doesn't add up.
