***Official OSU @ Iowa State Game Thread***

Good effort, nice come back, same result...disappointing, discouraging, hope is fading for this team to play well together this year.
 
The Technical had nothing to do with the loss...especially because of the fact they missed both freethrows from the T. There are a couple dozen other reasons as to why we lost.
 
guys, it is going to be many years before we even sniff the top half of the conference. I'm talking a decade or more - seriously.

People have wanted him to get a T when the team needs a spark. We didn't need a spark, we had our biggest lead of the game. I'm not one of the whine about McD at all cost types, but that was stupid.
 
McD getting the technical was the best thing he has done all year. It's the three point play we gave up immediately after that was moronic. Plus we lost by an inbounds pass going through or legs? Right in front of our own bench? Brackins needs to stop pouting and get his *** in the game. He just launches shots from the baseline now because he thinks he is a pro. Get down on the block and do some work. Colvin was in too much and taking too many shots. Buckley was the best defender we had out there tonight when he was on Monuelo or Anderson. Buckley was doing great on our 14-0 run to end the first half, and he puts in Diante Garret to finish the half? McD doesn't know when to sub... or resign.
 
I quit watching with about 2 minutes left. What happened at the end? Also, when was the last time CB made a three?
 
I just tuned in with a couple of minutes to go as I had something else going on and didn't even care that I was going to miss the game. When we were down 3 and had the ball under our basket I almost called my two boys into the room so they could see a great finish...but my gut said don't bother as this team just doesn't know how to finish a game like this one...next play...we throw the in bound pass away.

He needed to take that to stand up for his team.

pretty sad that we can forsee ****-ups like that now. this team is so predictable

There have been several times this year when this has been the case, for some reason he chose this instances, with the biggest lead of the game, to finally take his stand? Dumb.
 
I was waiting during that last timeout, thinking to myself, "How are we gonna **** this up?"

Well, my question was answered.
