When I hear “winning in the margins,” I picture taking advantage of having the ball with a chance to score at the end of the 1st half & getting the ball to start the 2nd. Outscoring your opponent by 14 points would be great, even 10 would be taking advantage of “margins.”
Getting a field goal, making a dumb coaching decision on the kickoff to give away yards and eventually three points, then starting the 2nd half with a three and out - so instead of gaining 14 or 10 points you just stay dead even - is NOT even close to “winning in the margins.”

ISU has had a lot of really bad offensive lines, but this one might be the worst line ever at ISU.
