NFL: ***Official NFL Draft Thread***

Worked out pretty well for the Cowboys last year. I thought they made a couple of decent picks tonight. Building from the inside out is never a bad strategy.

They are desperately in need of talent at the skill positions. Their wide receivers wouldn't start for some college teams, and they lost their tight end. They also have no running game. I guess when you have so many holes you have to start somewhere. At least they were smart enough not to trade up for Mariota.

I think if the Vikes get out of the first round without trading AP I think we can put the AP Trade talks to rest. Man up and just play ball for the Vikes AP.

Hope my Colts trade out of the first round. Lot of players with similar grades on the board. Maybe the Vikes or Bucs looking to get back into the late first round to get Gregory?

According to cbs sports, all picks are in,but not all have been announced. No one trading back in to the 1st round. Pretty slow night for trades

Gruden makes me un ******* comfortable. I like weird and out there but something about that dude is too much for me. I guess I can handle him splitting time with 3 other guys but his QB camp stuff is unwatchable for me.

Another safety for Green Bay? I guess Thompson and McCarthy must know something I don't.
He's projected at cornerback. I was surprised too, but at this point I trust the staff in the draft process

Chiefs get Marcus Peters.

Had some trouble at UW, but a lot of people had him as a top CB.

Damn you, Jameis. I don't like you. I don't want to like you. But then you do something like this, and it makes it really hard not to applaud you.

It's just driving his haters up the wall. He just taught a masters class in trolling, right there.

Overall, it was kind of a boring night. Few trades with not a lot of intrigue. Happy with how Minnesota picked. Waynes will fit right in in their secondary, which now becomes the strength of the roster, imho. A good thing, considering the division they're in. Everything i've heard about him is that he's a high character guy, as well. No off the field trouble, good student, likes to watch gamefilm, that kind of thng. That ticks off all the boxes for me.

For their next pick, I'd like either Green-Beckham, Landon Collins, or Eric Kendricks. Any of those three would make me very happy.

Agree, the Viking coaching staff will do a nice job with Waynes.

As far as the second round goes, Kendricks would be my first pick, followed by Green-Beckham, Strong, McKinney or Dawson.
