Why is eveyone so focused on the team score? There are enough peculiarities around this meet (non-college wrestlers, multiple entrants at the same weight class, etc) that makes the team score seem unimportant. Individual performances relative to expectations seems much more important to me . . . so far, I'd say we are a slight disappointment since we haven't had any major upsets (at least none of our starters have), but we've had a couple unexpected losses in Gallick and Z.

No, it would be in the finals and it's highly unlikely they both make it. It could happen in the consolation though.

Sounds like not really unless Iowa starts droppin'. They are easily in the driver seat here.:sad:
We have a couple of guys in the wrestlebacks right now that have to do well. Otherwise its over.
This tourney is setup really good for Iowa with the two weights having two wrestlers scoring points. I'd like to see us put up a good showing but I'm not going to read too much into the final team point tally.
Big Z and Gallick hurt us a lot...if they would've won we would be down what 4-5 points maybe? Just a guess
Where are you guys getting these results? Cyclones.com "live stats" is anything but...
