I'm on the baseline by the Cyclone bench - the refs are calling a really good came. Very consistent on calls - letting the guys play. Iowa State did a much better job on the board during the final 10 minutes of the half -credit Justin Hamilton for attacking the glass. 26-24 ISU on the boards.

ISU is just 1-9 from behind the arc and are leading by 4. If those 3's start falling - we've got an upset poss for real.

Now, KST only shot 2-9 from 3 as well and 11-36 for the half. They missed several lay ups. Expect them to come out like pitbulls to start the 2nd but ISU is for sure in this game.

Lets just hope that we come out with the same intensity as the first half. We did the same thing against Texas and they came out and pressed us and that was the game.

Great first half effort...intensity has been there for all 20 minutes. And this is the best we have looked defensively in a long time. Same for rebounding.

Shot selection has still been questionable but defense has made up for it.
