***OFFICIAL KSU at ISU THREAD***

This game illustrates the simple truth K State made the right coaching move 4 years ago and we made the wrong one.

Not a fair comparison at all. Look at the talent that Martin was left with when he took over compared to McDermott. Not even close.

ISU at the time of McDermotts hiring was more talented. It didn't end up that way though with Stinson, Blalock, Carr, and Taggart all transferring.

Why can't we shoot the 3 anymore?

Scotty has mono and he isn't as tall as Lucca and thus has to be more open to get a good look. Lucca didn't need as much space to shoot. Also JVB would have been our best 3 point shooter this year

We suck. Not sure what else to say. Coaching change needed ASAP, preferable yesterday. Just awful. The only players that I would have concerns about leaving are Colvin and Oliver. Otherwise I think Scottie, Hamilton, Garret, Dendy, and Boozer will all stay regardless.

I suppose Pollard would need to wait until the end of the season to even mention the idea, but sure hope he is looking around right now and finding a potential replacement.

Appalling.

Clemente is not their best shooter. In fact, he only shoots about 38% from the field, and 31% from 3 point range. Not exactly a dead-eye. He averages 15 points a game......today he has 28. More than an average game for him today...but that happens when you are left open.

ISU wasn't even close to as talented as KSU. Michael Beasley and Walker were beasts

They were just as free to leave if they wanted... Mac didn't put any effort in KEEPING the talent we had here.

That's true, he may have been able to keep Stinson and Blaylock and neither stayed. Not saying he would have for sure, but it does say something that neither even considered it.

ADs may not ever say it publicly, but they always have a list ready, and are always looking in case they need it. $$$ may tie his hands even if he wants to make a change. The buyout would cripple us.

This is crap we just played a great hard fought game against a damn good team, why does mcd still have his job!!!

Not to mention Taggert and then loosing Wesley Johnson. A lot of talent came through the revolving door.
