*** OFFICIAL ISU-WVU Postgame Thread ***

I was surprised Fred put the ball in Clyburn's hands over Korie at the end of the game, he scares me handling the ball under pressure, but he made a great play.

I agree. If I was Huggins I wouldn't have double teamed, our guys struggle sometimes vs. physical defense.

In three of the four ISU losses, they scored 70, 70 and 71. KU only exception. Tonight, nearly another loss....they score only 69. The only other score close to 70 was 76 against UMKC. Other than these, they have not been below 80. Basic rule......this team has to get past 75 to have a real chance to win, imo.

One thing shows just exactly how lazy and not enthused we were tonight... WV's offensive rebounds. I swear every time they got another offensive rebound I was going to throw my remote through the TV screen. That's just being lazy when you don't get defensive rebounds. No excuse for that.

Wow we are lazy again, back to that. Amazing.

We played just slightly above average this game-thus being it that close. Melvin Ejim played briliantly this game. Niang done some excessive celebrating after the game winning bucket. You could see Melvin Ejim screaming at him waving his towell to get Niang's attention to get back on
defense. lol!!

I agree with an earlier post, we got lucky as hell that they did not call a foul on us at half court with about two seconds left.

Lucked out in that one folks. I don't know how we can look so good one game, and so horrible the next?

WV is not a good team. In fact, they are pretty much terrible. No reason this should have come down to this. Yes, they shot out of their minds and the refs tried to screw us over good, but it still shouldn't have come down to the end.

Our guys never really were into this game from the very beginning. I don't know why? VERY lucky to win. We can't play like that against anyone else and expect to win. We've still got a lot of work to do to be a tourney team. We certainly weren't tonight for whatever reason?

You are the West Virginia of posters.

Wait till you see TCU, won't be scoring 70 Saturday.

Fun game to watch for a national TV audience. ISU is not a dominant power in BB this year - that is still in the future so a win is a win.

I would understand the complaints about the timeouts better if we were on the road and the fans were going nuts. But I like Fred not calling those timeouts at home. Eventually we're going to be in that situation on the road and out of timeouts and the guys are going to have to figure out how to dig deep. Might as well work on that at home, when you don't have the hostile crowd to contend with.

People need to lay off of Fred a little. The trajectory this program is on has us headed to places we've never been before. He's already elevated us to beyond where the last two coaches had us. Quit nit-picking every decision the guy makes and enjoy the freaking ride!

Like my coach use to say:

A win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win

Sure liked that last play that CFH called after the last timeout.

If Clyburn dribbled in after the clear out, Will could shoot, draw a foul, pass out or pass to Georges. ME fouled out, so Georges was the Man.

Can someone put a video of the CYCLONE POWER chant on youtube? I completely forgot to DVR the game before I left to the game and want to see it on TV because it sounded awesome in person....
