Official Iowa vs Purdue Thread

The obvious answer is to move Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State up.

And also keep Iowa in the Top 10.

Maybe, depends how much national shine is still on TOE.
I have them rated behind the six top undefeated, and one loss Ala, Ohio St, Penn St, Ole Miss, Baylor, and maybe Oregon.
So that's 12th, even though the voters will probably have them falling to ten after Ped St.

A good friend of mine (iowa season ticket holder) who is a huge Iowa fine has a lengthy post on his facebook about how the decision to sell beer at Kinnick now is biting them in the ass since numerous iowa fans (including some directly around him) were throwing beer bottles on the field.

Selling beer is one thing. Selling it in bottles is stupid.

The beer yesterday looked like a full can but the chance have to be lower to throw a FULL beer vs. an empty one and an empty bottle still carries some weight.

Haven't seen a list version to post, but I did see a story where the coaches dropped Iowa to 11th. Penn State is now 8th.

Coaches went as above but liked one loss Oregon for tenth. TOE just ahead of Ole Miss.
Iowa St was 26th.

Expect the illogical AP to have TOE still in the top 10.

I've known too many Iowa fans like this.

-fails to acknowledge throwing beer and mocking injured players vs. this.
-don't remember Robert Gallery doing this on the JT field in 2003 vs. a terrible ISU team.
-don't know very much about the game, like where the end zone is.

The Big 10 should probably investigate that flag "incident" to see if it is an assault on the turf. ;)

BTW, who was left to see this after all of the Iowa fans bailed on their team in the 4th quarter?

I kinda saw a loss coming as some of you know but I didn't expect it to be a complete Beatdown. This offense is as bad as I can remember which is saying something. Hopefully it improves after the bye but it's not a 1 or 2 problem type fix

That's just typical Iowa fans. Every time they lose, they'll keep searching and searching to find something to try and take away from an opponent's win. Just like the Rose Bowl.....got destroyed in the game, but about what that Stanford band did.

So Iowa fans aren't upset about beer bottles being thrown by Hawk fans.... but they are upset about Purdue spanking them and planting their flag? You can't be serious, right?

They struggled to beat Wisconsin. Notre Dame beat Wisconsin 41-13. Michigan rolled them as well. Penn State doesn't know how to do a silent count on the road. Penn State lost to Iowa. They ARE overrated. Big time.
They struggled to beat Wisconsin at Camp Randall in the same week and by the same score ISU beat a mediocre FCS team. I don’t know if PSU is top 10 material, but they are a Clifford injury and having a backup QB that can actually throw from being undefeated.

I wonder what Iowa would look like if they had Dekkers or Bouman
I'd love to have Dekkers. The tackles are so bad too though it really complicates Petras statuesqueness. I would love to have the transfer from Oklahoma to Smu blanking on name

Petras is basically a no tools QB. How bad is your backup

When did Kirk lose his ability to identify and develop OL?

Rattler would not go to Iowa
