So, I've basically been stuck in my apartment all week long after getting Covid at some point during my Vegas vacation last week. It hasn't been the end of the world exactly, as I've been able to watch a lot of basketball, including yesterday's game.

Anyway...while I was watching the video above about Tamin, I found myself thinking about where we were two years ago as a program; we had just lost our 22nd game of the season against Oklahoma in the 1st round of the Big 12 tournament to finish what is arguably the worst season in program history. We all knew that Prohm would be dismissed and that there was a high degree of likelihood that it wasn't a matter of if TJ would be offered the job, but how quickly he would accept it. And naturally there was plenty of speculation about how long it would take him to get our program back to respectability.

Here we are, two years later with a game in the Big 12 semifinals against Kansas coming up and we know that whether we win or lose we have a spot in the NCAA Tournament with a great shot at a Top 20 or 24 seed.

Just amazing to think about how far we've come in such a short time.

Rumor has it during the Pep Rally, while Wendy Wintersteen was speaking there was a VEISHEA chant
