***OFFICIAL IOWA/ISU WEEK THREAD***

if it really is that cheap it must just be an incentive for adults who are on the fence about buying tickets because of their kids. No 17 yr old or younger is going to be going out and buying that themselves, so it had to just be a family inclusion, type deal would be my guess. Either way that is really nice

It is an incentive run because ISU doesn't come close to selling out games so they have to come up with incentives to put butts in the seats. They don't do it for BB because they don't have to.

Kids who aren't legally adults, and most likely don't purchase tickets for themselves are the key to selling out games? Good to knw

Try reading my post. I never said this would lead to sellouts. I said that because ISU doesn't come close to selling out Jack Trice they have to have incentives to get more butts in the seats.

Well it must lead to sell outs because we sold out Saturday and this is the first I am hearing about it. Cool idea by the department.

Here proof of the sign being changed...

Miller was wrong about this one, apparently there is a different clock that has been in the weight room all year that says, "Beat Iowa" that some Iowa fan took a picture of while touring the facilities.

Believe what you want man. Not sure what more proof you need.

Listen to the podcast.

Voice of the Hawkeyes asked why Iowa St has a countdown clock with beat Iowa on it in the spring and summer.

Voice of the Cyclones says yes.

It is right there, if you wanna call the Voice of the Cyclones a liar go ahead, I think he was being honest.

So ISU has a public countdown clock that they change the opponents on and tweet out. Then they have another one up as motivation all spring and summer that says Beat Iowa. Got it.

Someone help me determine what is better....selling Junior Cyclone passes to create more future Cyclones and season ticket holders or offering "student tickets" to OTHER colleges to fill the stadium??

Well from a financial standpoint the one that actually makes you some money.
We have been over this before. ISU offers student tickets to DMAC students as well.

No I wont listen. All I can tell you is they are wrong. 100% wrong. The video proves that much.

Don't get me started on my mom again. She wouldn't Spring the freaking $25 it took to get tickets to every Clone game this year. I'm so pissed at her.

Just curious, did you make it to the game Saturday? I heard reports there were some homeless people near Jack Trice, I thought maybe you would be too afraid to get out of your car and went home?
I mean, there was a few random Hawk fans around, but I didn't call them homeless... Seems rather judgmental.
