Who would've thought that with all of the All-State Starting Roster talk it turns out Iowa's entire OL and entire DL would get the nod.
No argument here on the OL, but the DL is debatable. Lima at minimum.
I think a lot of D lines are going to look all world vs ISU...
Since Campbell got to Ames ISU is 3-9 in November and Iowa is 9-3 in November.

I watch lots of bowl games. If teams improve they play their best football in November. That is pretty self explanatory.
In what world was ISU better than Iowa last year? Please don't tell me you are gonna go all @1976 and talk about an AP poll that neither team was ranked in.

I agree, I want my team playing it's best football going into their bowl game. Those are Nov. games, and Iowa is 9-3 in those games the last 3 years.
The AP only ranks the top 25, but nice try. It is odd though that you think Memphis is better than ISU considering ISU beat them. I mean AP did rank Memphis in the top 25, but not ISU.

What team doesn't want to be playing their best football in November? Maybe because ISU is never in contention for anything, you don't realize those are the most important games. November games are deciding Conference champions, so yeah I want to win conference titles/division titles more than I want to win a bowl game.

Um, everyone who is playing for something. You are telling me if you are 6-1 heading into Nov. this year, you'd rather lose a couple in November, but win a meaningless bowl game? I'd rather play awesome in Nov., win all those games and play for a conference title in Dec.
How you play in November kind of determines what level bowl game you go to. Pretty easy. Have a feeling you're still chaffed about yesterday so will give you a pass on this one.
I'd rather play my best football game the last game of the season. It's not complicated
