Iowa is a young team, and is already better than ISU. They will get better as well and stay ahead of ISU developmentally. All 3 RB are So. OL has three So and two Sr with great depth behind them. Kallenberger will be the next really good lineman and he is a Fr. The DL has two absolute studs who are only going to get better this year and a Sr guy in Hesse. The LB are all almost all underclassmen and as we saw the depth is so good we could start 2 guys who had never started before and still dominate defensively. The secondary speaks for itself, all Phil Parker does is turn out All conference defensive back one after another after another.
I seem to recall you mocking one of posts that said Iowa’s DL>>>>>ISU’s OL and Iowa’s secondary = ISU’s receivers. How’d that one turn out for you?
