I would have confidence we MIGHT could come back, BUT after seeing NDakota State pick on Banks and then this first half, there is NO WAY we can stop anything average quarterback and average receivers can do. If that is our best corner defense this staff can coach up out there, then time to go back to yard work. Arnaud can throw 3 touchdowns in the third quarter.....we will give up two and we have already spotted them two. Game over.

Because Arnaud has shown that he can effectively run an offense in the past two seasons, and seems to have the tools necessary?
Seriously folks, I understand frustration, but I just don't get the meltdown. We are killing ourselves and could be down big, but as it stands we are down two scores and will start with the ball. Plenty of time to turn things around.
No, but I think we should review jersey colors with AA just to be sure. Seriously, I think we stick with AA unless he is hurt. Give him the oportunity to settle down in the second half like last week. Herman needs to call a better game also. Our running has worked, and will help make the rest of it work. Iowa is denying the flats and short wide stuff. Get the tight ends more involved and let's find the soft spots in that zone.

I feel it's a little early to start blaming the coaching. Arnaud making poor decisions and throwing 3 picks isn't the coaching staff's fault. I like the offensive balance between pass and run so far. You can't run A-Rob every play.
The onside kick is a bad call because it didn't work, but if it had worked and we had scored a touchdown to go up 10-0, it would have been a great call. That's how it goes in football.

Easily the biggest play of the game is that %$$#@!@@!!!! on side kick, followed closely by that personal foul on Banks tackling out of bounds. Those two gave them the first TD and all the momentum.
Why can't we recruit dbacks? Why can't we create them out of big, smart atheletes? The smurfs were from the 1980's.....These big receivers these days eat that crap up, as evidenced by our first two games.
I am undecided on the onside kick....I like risk taking and usually will not criticize. Nebraska doing that to us to instantly end a game early is different than us doing it to Iowa when we only have a 3 point lead and have shown weakness.
our d-line has been horrendous this first half. there has been no pressure on stanzi except when a blitzer comes free. our defense has still played much better than against ndsu. our offense and special teams has been sad. where is the discipline we saw last week? we are shooting ourselves in the foot. arnaud is not acting like a good quarterback this game. he has starred at his primary receiver, and thrown the ball to him even though four defenders are surrounding him. have you seen the openness of the other 3 or 4 receivers? it is man on man at worst. this is horrible. where is phillip bates when you need him.
If you guys are already hating on CPR, just wait because the next two years are going to be hell with the schedule setup as it is. Settle down and learn to be patient because the rebuilding is going to be a 5 year project.
Good point. However, AA hardly looks like a QB making is 14th consecutive start. If AA struggles on the opening drive, Tiller deserves a shot...

As has been said, we are very lucky to be only down 11. We get the ball here, we still have a chance, but obviously it all hinges on our offensive turning it around. If not it could get ugly, in the first half the O hung the D out to dry.
