New offer.
I know nothing about this recruit, but remember how versatile some of our teams were with multiple players in the 6’5” to 6’7”By offering a Juco it seems fair to say we'll close out the 2024 class with a couple more experienced Frontline guys. Via Juco or portal.
Seems a little odd at forward returning two sophs and a junior but you gotta find the talent where you can.. I'm sure the juco route is cheaper than the portal
My point is all four we lose are front court guys. We're adding two guard preps. Obvious need is up front. I'm saying we must have determined there's not another available prep they desire.I know nothing about this recruit, but remember how versatile some of our teams were with multiple players in the 6’5” to 6’7”

Rock, Momcilovic, Watson and Fish that's all we have upfront. None of those three forwards have a body you'd want to add as an emergency post. Obviously we add a vet post. That still leaves us very thin in the post. Personally I was hoping our portal adds consisted of an experienced post and a project big.We will be active in the portal for at least one frontcourt player next spring.
JT Rock will be a newcomer of sorts in 2024 after redshirting this season. Ideally you'd want to put a more proven commodity with experience in front of him. The good news is, they'll have a 9 month sample from practice to know exactly what they have in Rock before they go portal shopping.
Hopefully Milan is back in 2024-2025. Too early to tell on a lot of stuff but the staff has shown to be adaptive.
We have a lot of guys who can play the 1-3 spots on the 2024/25 roster, but can use a guy who thrives in the paint. And a upper class JUCO or TFR is a good fit.By offering a Juco it seems fair to say we'll close out the 2024 class with a couple more experienced Frontline guys. Via Juco or portal.

Plus what if Biliew is a one & done?
2024/25 Roster Bigs
Rock -5
Momcilovic - 4/5
Fish - 4
Biliew - 3/4
Watson - 3/4
Then we'll be looking for another mature post next spring.Omaha is a one and done. Everyone should be operating under that assumption.
Including Omaha we'll have 4 bigs departing. 2024 class has 2 guards. Have to add a big to pair with Rock. Final add could be a guard but I bet they are leaning big. Then we'll be looking for another mature post next spring.
Regardless of Biliew being on our roster for 2024/25, we need a player with Bank's skill set. So might as well sign someone this fall.
How did he look?Nojus Indrusaitis (#4) now on ESPN+ game of Brewster Academy vs Sunrise Christian of Kansas. Second quarter at 4:30 Iowa time
First I am not a judge of talent. But he looked good and comfortable but he was not a key in their offence. Others were more ball hogs on the team. Theor point guard seems to want to shoot most of the time. How did he look?
We were missing our guy who fits in that category (Ward). Still wouldn't have totally matched up with A&M, but wouldn't have been outclassed by the other two if he had played. As good as the guards in this class are, strong, athletic front court players will be a much bigger need. Last weekend was pretty eye opening. A&M will be more athletic than most teams they play but VT and VCU were nothing special and we were outclassed up front by both.
Clearly we are recruiting bigs as freshmen for 2025, but we will need to have some success in the portal to get some full grown men down low.As good as the guards in this class are, strong, athletic front court players will be a much bigger need. How about now?Omaha is a one and done. Everyone should be operating under that assumption.
