My wife and I just finished framing and installing a new door for the garage. The previous home owner took an old door, so we put a new one back in its place.
Well what I thought was paving block of some sort has turned out to be a 10" thick poured slab piece. Time to go get a concrete saw somewhere.

Yeah. Just kinda crossing the river into Maryland. Moving to Annapolis.
Moved a lot more dirt then I expected. What I thought would be an easy project.
Nice work. Think I would call it a day and grab a beer! After all, Clones don't play until 6;30 next week. Maybe a neighbor will take pity on you and offer to lend a hand.
Thats currently what I am doing.. will back fill it tomorrow and try to get it flattened for the paving stones
No, it was a flipper and they took the door out. They finished half the basement, so they kept the door that went to the finished part, but took the one out on the unfinished side. We decided to put a door back to go to the h finished side. Primarily because we are getting an interior French drain and sump pump installed in our basement and didn’t want them on the finished side.
Annapolis! Found a place in the historic downtown district, a block from the capitol building and about two blocks from the harbor with a view right across the street into the Naval Academy for the same price I’m paying where I live right now.
