I still think that VT ends up in the SEC and because I don't think that the SEC will take a school from a state that already has a member i think they would likely take NCST. The only way I see them not taking these 2 schools is if 1 they decide to take a school from a state that has a school in it if that's the case I think GT then Clemson would be the top 2 I just don't see FSU as a viable SEC school. The 2nd would be if they could get UNC and Duke in a package deal which would be great for when the SEC launches their network and also because of the likelyhood that the B1G wants UNC

Because Clemson has zero interest and Miami has no other choices. Also, FOX supposedly told the Big 12 brass that they will pay $$$$ for FSU/Miami, but not FSU/Clemson.

I don't believe this whole "Clemson has zero interest" BS. I just think Clemson is keeping its cards very close to its chest. Yeah, Clemson signed the $50 million buyout clause. I also don't think there was any way in hell they would have done so if they thought that amount would hold up in court.

I think the B12 may have talked to Clemson and they likly have talked to a number of schools. I think that maybe the Big 12 was looking at going to 14 or 16 in 1 swoop and that with all the talk centered on the 5 or 6 supposed schools in play for the B1G and SEC that the B12 was looking at who wants in badly and who just wants in.

Well with Boise St staying in MWC and the conference helping them pay the byuout to the Big East I wonder about San Diego St if they will stay or not and what does that do to the Big East they now have to add another school to get to 12 correct?

For BE to remain relevant, they need at least 12. They may need the yellow pages to fill that last slot.

We're in a new level of cluster F right now with BSU and probably SDSU heading back to bring the MWC back up to 12 teams.

The CUSA has scheduled themselves to be 14 teams already. SMU, UCF, USF, Houston, Memphis, Cincy and UConn all out there blowing in the wind.

Does MWC go for Houston/SMU to 14? Memphis isn't a horrible fit. None of these schools are going to want to join the Sun Belt which is what the CUSA is now. Cincy/UConn need ACC in a bad way now.

Whoever doesn't join the MWC and ACC would be wise to try to start a smaller new conference given the options.

Atleast Boise tried to help SDSU if they want back in the MWC by making MWC give SDSU the 1st chance until Jan 31. The MWC has supposly talked to BYU, SDSU,UTEp< Houston and SMU about joining. MWC to go to 12 or 14 teams apparently.

[h=4]The end is nigh[/h]
Ducks are lining up side by side in a horizontal line
Lower case letters that require extra penmanship are having exactly that.

Delaney appears ready to strike.
He's going for the heart.

UNC and GT movin on up to the north side
to that dee-lux apartment in the sky-high

They finally got a piece of that pie.

UVA left holding the bag?

Will Delaney be done at 16?
And before you ask, No I do not know the exact time-frame. Just that it is close.
