This board should shut down for 24 hours after football and basketball losses. We all behave like jackasses. It’s so ******* toxic.

To think there are significant number of fans who don’t think prohm is a good coach and should be fired is awful.

To think that there are significant number of fans that don’t think this is a good team is stupid.

You can point out the flaws in this team and the coaches without acting like they are the only teams with flaws. You can be pissed this team has lost 3 at home but you also have to acknowledge that they have been great on the road.

I’m extreme in defending the team and coaches because they don’t deserve to be completely thrown under the bus. Go read the toxic comments on their Facebook page. That’s **** people might as well be saying directly to them.

The players and coaches were pissed tonight. I hadn’t exactly heard them like that after any loss this year.

Also as far as prohm saying he could have done some things different. He’s trying to be honest but idiot fans take those comments and run. He has reasons for doing what he does and like every coach he second guesses himself and makes mistakes. Most coaches don’t admit that to the fans though.

You saying something doesn't make it so. We will likely end up in the middle of the Big 12 at the end of the season, that seems like mediocrity to me. What do you consider a successful season, everybody giving each other a group hug because we tried hard?

I think the same about you. You bring nothing to the table but criticism and yet you never provide any original thoughts of your own. You show up on game threads when fans are emotional and bash. Easy to to do, but what say you? If you were a true Clone fan you should have been here a long time ago.....

With that said, I’m still pumped for the next 6 weeks. We haven’t come close to playing a complete game. Cam’s play tonight should be enough to keep us excited and when Wig puts it together we can go deep!

I'm fine, I am on record as saying I think Prohm is a better coach than Hoiberg. It's just extremely disingenuous to compare them on their head to head records after 4 years. I mean if you have even a little situational awareness.

For those that are all over Prohm, that he can't coach, can't make adjustments, he's not the right coach for the program, he's ruined Hilton Magic, etc...would you be ok with TJ as our next coach because he will undoubtedly be the man that is hired if Pollard makes that decision. I'm not saying he is good, bad or otherwise, but you best be ok with that hire if you want Prohm gone.

I would like to see how Otz does without Daum.

Daum is 23 years old, its like having an NBA vet on your team.

Prohm took over in 2015, hence his first season started in November of 2015. I guess I need the specify the 2015/16 season?

Seems like a valid question to me.

I would imagine most other posters would use the 2015/16 method of being specific when referring to basketball seasons since the season does start in one calendar year and ends in another. In fact, if you ever go to KenPom.com you'll notice that they use the last year of the season to designate which team they're talking about (why ISU is 2019 on there, not 2018-19).

But hey, you do you and you write whatever you want to keep on driving your agenda.

Nobody in their right mind is calling for a coaching change. However the inability of some posters to acknowledge that there seem to exist some in-game coaching challenges is a bit amazing. I’m frustrated at the home losses but can also acknowledge that CSP has always been able to get his team to respond to adversity with big road wins. Responding to success has been more challenging for this group.

Without a doubt you are the most clueless arrogant person on this board. If someone disagrees with you your first response is name calling and trying to demean the person. Your post show very little thought or insight into basketball. I provided an example of an adjustment that could have been made to night but instead of responding to the comment you went right into name calling mode. Next you will like say that my suggestion was so stupid it didn't deserve a response (most likely because you don't have a intelligent response).

I’d throw some cash at Chris Beard next. He’s always thought highly of Iowa State and Hilton.

Fred has rebuild year 1. Prohm had it year 3. I know you don’t think he needed one but just for the sake of argument allow it. What team of Fred’s was head and shoulders above the 3 non-rebuilds of prohm? They were all pretty similar except Fred had a 7 and 8 seed with Royce and Georges freshman year. Prohm hasn’t had a seed that low and likely won’t this year.

Who would your hire to bring us to level of LE, because Fred failed and it seems you believe Prohm will fail as well? Actually we have hired 4 coaches since LE and none of them have brought us a Big 12 regular season title.

So I ask you, who is out there that would come to ISU and bring back the regular season title?
