***Official Baylor postgame thread***

So you think Fred inherited a better situation than Prohm?

I think Prohm inherited a bad trust fund, he was given great stuff to start, but due to no recruiting by Fred for 2 years, and brutally imbalanced class due to too many transfers his problem was delayed.

The good he play liked 6 seniors the bad he played 6 seniors, nobody else got a lot of experience. So last year ISU paid.

Hard to sell freshmen to come knowing with 6 seniors he will never see the floor.

It was not as bad as Fred's situation but it was still pretty crappy.

He did fix it, and brought in the best freshmen class ISU has seen in a long long time, along with 2 good transfers. Previous year a 5 star point guard.

You are an ******* who just likes to belittle other posters but can’t admit when you looked like an arrogant ass. Just yesterday you said Fred choked away the Big 12 title against Baylor in 2015-16. Tonight you told another poster that Steve couldn’t have made any adjustments to win the game. What am I missing? You complain about me and a double standard who the Hell are you to post **** like that and then act like it never happened.
Calm down. You’ve got to feel for him. I can only imagine it’s letdowns like tonight that pushed Cat and CyBobby over the edge.

Jamie Vanderbeken? LOL.

The only player on our current team shooting a better 3pt percentage than Jamie did is Tyrese. Would you like a 6'11'' player shooting over 42% from 3 on our current team?

If you say no I will add you to my ignore list without a second thought.

Your definitely wrong about me being pretty happy tonight. I guess you are more accepting of mediocrity than I am.

This is my favorite dumb statement. You and Jessie are the same with this stupidity.

This team is not mediocre. Who knows what happens the rest of the season. But to say that shows how clueless you are.

Well, of course you would not understand anything that doesn’t fit your agenda.

But I’ll go slow. One the person in question was talking about Baylor never winning in Ames til now, and that was incorrect.

The question for world was what adjustments were there to make when we got out efforted.

You know why I don’t respect your opinion? It’s twofold. One, you ranted all year two years ago and then disappeared when we won 11-13. Two, I don’t enjoy Iowa State losing so I can go after the coach.
One easy simple adjustment would have been for all 5 or at least 4 ISU players to go to the defense glass. Most of the time there were 2 and sometimes 3 ISU players releasing when Baylor took a shot. Maybe we should have committed more players to defensive rebounding.

You said Hoiberg choked that game away. Who has the agenda?

He was a 7 foot tall dude that averaged 7 points and 4 rebs in like 29 minutes per game. He was a good role player on a terrible team.

You saying something doesn't make it so. We will likely end up in the middle of the Big 12 at the end of the season, that seems like mediocrity to me. What do you consider a successful season, everybody giving each other a group hug because we tried hard?

2015- Underacheived
2016- Acheived
2017- Dumpster fire
2018- Underacheived

Not a good look for CSP.

First, to say a Sweet 16 team at ISU underachieved is crazy.

And how can you say this team has underachieved already? Despite the roster instability they still have a chance to have as good a conference record as any team since 2000-2001.

For those that are all over Prohm, that he can't coach, can't make adjustments, he's not the right coach for the program, he's ruined Hilton Magic, etc...would you be ok with TJ as our next coach because he will undoubtedly be the man that is hired if Pollard makes that decision. I'm not saying he is good, bad or otherwise, but you best be ok with that hire if you want Prohm gone.

Dude, I know you're passionate, and we've gone at it before on here, but as much as I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, you just shoot yourself in the foot with posts like this.

Fred was our coach in 2015 and ended his career at Iowa State with a first round loss to UAB. Steve Prohm was NOT OUR COACH THAT SEASON.

C'mon man...

Prohm took over in 2015, hence his first season started in November of 2015. I guess I need the specify the 2015/16 season?

C'mon man!!!! You think I don't know the years?

Facts and actual perspective (and context) are not allowed in his world. Nice try, though.

Haha. That’s awesome.

Well, they were up 8 with 6 minutes left and were out scored 23-6 to close the game. I guess if you consider prohm not making adjustments to stop runs, and stuff. You should certainly be willing to question that one. Look at all the nba talent on that squad.

But I was being ironic to show how dumb you all look, but you missed that too, just like CF when the basketball team is winning.

Now that you mention it, I don’t see the players hugging each other much and I think that’s squarely on Prohm.

Using your highly accurate logic he is 32-11 in conference play. So he should be god.
