***Official 2023 Weather Thread***

My weather apps are showing a slight chance of storms tomorrow. First time I've seen a chance of rain in the forecast in a couple weeks, and it's the only chance it shows for the next few days.

I haven't kept track myself, but I saw a tweet two or three days ago that said we were at 19 straight days (now 21 or 22) without rain?

Dewpoint noticeably worse this morning. Can't wait for the front to come through (while bringing CR a trace of rain)

A select few saw some rain Friday Aug 25th. But if you didn't you're going back to the 14th. Deficits are running anywhere from 4 to 12" short of rain on the year.

After tomorrow, are we done with this trash heat? Ready for summer to end and some cooler temperatures

Hope so but seems like everything is pushed back a month or so from what it use to be weather wise these days.

Yeah, seems that way … Novembers are warmer, even Decembers aren’t often too bad - we get our hardcore winter weather in January & February now. April is way chillier than it used to be, even early May can be dicey. Then we get summer lasting well into September.

-7 inches from normal on precipitation for the summer in Twin Cities. Now watering so stuff doesn't go into fall all stressed out and die on me over the winter.
I started regular watering maybe just over a week ago, before this latest heat wave, for the same reason. Any time I let mine go dormant the weeds take over very quickly. Looking to support it back to a strong growth environment before winter.
