Tonight is nothing but amazing almost hoodie weather in Southern MN right now. Just beautiful.
Meanwhile in central Iowa I might get to turn off AC and open a window.
Central Iowa folks, enjoy the next few days while you can. Looks like we're headed back to the mid to upper 90's for several days starting next weekend. Ugh!!

The weather channel folks make me laugh. Sure they get all the nice swag (Carhartt this it looks like), but dang come up with new material. Jim Cantore just keep harping on this one place were the high water just blew out this condo and all it was used for was for storage. Alex Wilson standing on the beach in Jacksonville, with the wind blowing sand around like she may get blown away and in the background a couple guys walking on the beach like it is no big thing.
News, including weather, became unwatchable over a decade ago, probably more like 20 years ago. I used to love it up until it started becoming an over-dramatization equivalent to click bait online.

Fun fact: John Parr was struggling to come up with a song for the movie, so he actually wrote lyrics inspired by Rick Hansen’s effort to go around the globe in a wheelchair to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries. Hansen called that the “Man In Motion Tour,” which is why the chorus includes “wanna be a man in motion” and the words “St. Elmo’s fire” seem tacked on as an afterthought.
