Carroll and Harlan never got anything last night. A lot of people are mowing yards I noticed. Ames got hit hard this morning. It was like a cow pissing on a flat rock!

I know some people discussed this a few weeks ago, but I'm still second guessing my self about how to line up the HRRR model run time with CDT. From what I understand 00z = 7pm CDT. So Right now it's 3pm and that should be 20z. But, the current run of HRRR lists it as 19z. So, was that data actually collected an hour ago and the 000 frame is showing what it figured Valid for 19z = 2pm? I guess I keep second guessing myself since that part appears to be delayed. If you tell me it as easy as making the 5hr adjustment when looking at the Valid z time then so be it. The listed run times just confuse me.

19z run is initiated at 19z or 2 PM.

Still takes time to actually run the model, then get the output out.

So the 3 PM (20z) model isn't going to be available immediately. That just denotes the time it started running. It won't show up on the sites until later.
