Looks like this may be another wet heavy snow. Just thankful I'm flying home tonight instead of tomorrow night. It never fails, yoy go somewhere warm, come home and a day or so later we get dumped on.
Oh great. This is about to be the storm of all storms nowOne storm I hope doesn’t happen. Suppose to go to KC Thursday afternoon and I’d really like to be able to make it down and get stoned.

Whatever happens here this week or next, you know we’re going to get blasted at least once in March. You know that’s how it works, right?View attachment 109636
Looks like we could get a lot or nothing... It's the middle of February, so please put me in the little camp as the less snow we have, the sooner we can get on to Spring.
Yep, I have a vacation to Colorado in 3 weeks. Guarantee you I-80 will be closed to 2 feet of snow from here to the front range.Whatever happens here this week or next, you know where going to get blasted at least once in March. You know that’s how it works, right?

Very steep gradient between Ames/Des Moines. Very easily could see much lower amounts in Des Moines with a slight southward shift.
With cautious optimism that the stuff on the north side doesn’t drop a smidge onto us now. That noise you hear is @BCClone screaming with joy.

That track is quite a bit more south than what Accuweather was predicting Sunday. NWS forecast for CR is saying 3 to 6 inches now.View attachment 109643

I would accept 69.Here we go again. KCCI has Ames at 3 to 6. And looks like WHO is at 1.3.
here is the screenshot from lazy KCCI.![]()
Either it’s warmer to the east or you don’t have as much snow but in the center part of the border, no way it’s all gone by then. They're calling for 6-10" up on the MN border next week. I don't trust a forecast that far out, but man, that would be annoying as we're going to lose everything that's not a snow pile or fenceline between now and then.
