Flatten that baby out a smidge with Des Moines being the middle. That way @Jeremy can get his storm and we get nothing up here but just cold. Still have too much snow that needs to go away up here on the Minny border.

The forecast for the storm mid-next week looks like it could be! Although as we all know...that is a long way off!
Looks like we could get a lot or nothing... It's the middle of February, so please put me in the little camp as the less snow we have, the sooner we can get on to Spring.

Very steep gradient between Ames/Des Moines. Very easily could see much lower amounts in Des Moines with a slight southward shift.
With cautious optimism that the stuff on the north side doesn’t drop a smidge onto us now.
They're calling for 6-10" up on the MN border next week. I don't trust a forecast that far out, but man, that would be annoying as we're going to lose everything that's not a snow pile or fenceline between now and then.
Hell, you could see that 5.1 at the airport but a good deal lower in Ankeny

That track is quite a bit more south than what Accuweather was predicting Sunday. NWS forecast for CR is saying 3 to 6 inches now.
Here we go again. KCCI has Ames at 3 to 6. And looks like WHO is at 1.3.

Either it’s warmer to the east or you don’t have as much snow but in the center part of the border, no way it’s all gone by then.
