This in a vacuum means absolutely nothing without seeing other teams successes and failures. GMs by default have WAY more misses than hits. That's why the average career is only a few years.
Additionally, Gladney and Bridgewater aren't busts. Off field issue for Gladney and Bridgewater's leg exploded. Waynes isn't a bust either. He got a second contract....he just can't stay healthy. Bust to me is a talent issue.
I'd classify them as follows:
Jeff Gladney - BUST - off the field issues ended him, but he was bad when he played. Maybe he would've turned out, maybe not. In the end they got zero out of a first rounder.
Garrett Bradbury - Can't call a guy that's started that much a bust, but you have to get more than this out of a first rounder.
Mike Hughes - Part time starter for KC, so not a bust, but another mistake pick given where he was taken.
Laquon Treadwell - BUST - being WR3 on an absolute garbage team probably means a bust given his position in the draft.
Trae Waynes - OK starter on good defenses. Not a bust. Underwhelming pick given his position in the draft
Anthony Barr - Good pick.
Teddy Bridgewater - Regardless of injury was probably never going to be more than game manager anyway. Too many throws he simply could never make. Why anyone would pick a guy that had such a low ceiling in the first round as a QB makes no sense.
Sharrif Floyd - BUST
Xavier Rhodes - Good starter that ran into availability issues later. The sin of Rick here was signing him to that fat contract when he was already having availability problems and was not playing all that well consistently.
Cordarrelle Patterson - Has turned into an interesting offensive player, but it took a long time for him to be much more than a KO return and gadget guy. Again, not enough out of him given his position in the draft.
Matt Kalil - Probably harsh to call him a bust, but below average player picked at a spot where you should be getting a franchise LT
Harrisson Smith - Obviously a good pick, but I think this last big contract was a bad idea.
