***Official 2021 Vikings***

I don't love the Mond pick but the rest of the draft has been good so far. About time we address the o-lime. If the 2 lineman are NFL starter quality then the offense should be real good this year. Hopefully the young defense can take a big step forward (earn your rep Zim). Maybe got a playoff team here.

Was hoping St. Brown would fall to us. Probably will go DB now I’d guess.

Still need to grab a safety but I definitely wouldn't mind grabbing Tylan Wallace as a WR3 if he's available with our next pick.

With you Mond. Don't like it when a QBs biggest weaknesses are accuracy and decision making.

Was really hoping they'd take Mills. Most were saying if he would've come back next year he would've been a mid 1st and possibly top 10 pick.

I love that Jones kid. He has a QUICK first step off the ball. Patterson can hopefully turn him into another Hunter.

Like the Davis pick a lot. Offensive line starters are probably set.

Best part is Dallisaw played with a significant groin injury last year, he might've gone higher if not for that.

And Davis played a short Big 10 season and had a knee injury or he would've gone higher.

I’m still grumbling about yesterday’s picks.

Playing with the team he had around him that he did, in an $EC short on defense last year, Mond still only hit 63% of his passes. Everyone says he “has a lot to learn”...after being a four year starter.

Surratt is athletic, a leader and a hard worker. He’s also undersized, the term “missed tackles” is used a lot with him—and he’s already 24.

Despite his experience, Jones is a project for Patterson to work with. Seriously? Might as well have picked the UNI kid.

The only reason I liked the Davis pick is because the team had a crying need at guard. Sure, he’s big, physical and experienced—but can he pass protectI see the phrase “phone booth” mentioned altogether too often in regards to him.

Sigh. Well, at least he should be a passable starter. But picking someone where they did Mond might have been an improvement.

/rant.

Today is another day.

Fourth round means they expect him to make the roster. In my mind anyway.

I would argue that Hunter was a much bigger project and much more raw and look what Patterson turned him into.

Jones has a great first step and already has an arsenal of moves so I'm excited to see what Patterson can do with him

Could have used better highlights, but whatever. Lol

I know. Watching them on NFL Network and I thought the same thing.

But at least they covered it. Effing ESPN didn't even cover the pick. They skipped to the stupid effing Patriots' pick.
