With 2 walk-off losses.
Good road trip
Molina is a ******* punk.
He better be fined and suspended. Contrares got that much for his helmet inovertedly hitting an ump last year. How does he not get tossed for that?
I hate the Cardinals, and especially Yadier Molina, as much as the next guy.
From what I've heard, the channel showing the game has audio clip and said they weren't going to play it. It sounds like the Diamondback's manager referred to Yadi as "that ************," and I can't blame Yadi for getting pissed about that, and though making contact with an umpire is illegal (I believe) I'm fine with the ump keeping him in the game. Honestly, Lovullo's ass should be suspended for weeks, if not months.
My feelings about the road now vs 10 innings ago couldnt be further apart. Hopefully they can hold the momentum and have a good home stand. Hopefully the rain stays away from Wrigley next week.Overall satisfied with the road trip but there's a lot of room for improvement. The approach at the plate with runners in scoring position has to change. I know they know this, now do it.

Wow, after one week, people are wanting Happ and Schwarber traded or demoted? I'm very very very glad you're just posters and not GMs. This is ridiculous...it's been only one week.
I wish the Cubs would've traded Happ and Schwarber while they still had worth. I think Caratini's value will end up leading to him being traded at the midway point this season, I'm just not sure what for. I think our biggest need is in the outfield, but I also think the Cubs are going to be holding off for Harper.
It's possible they try adding in some prospects (Caratini, Happ, Schwarber) in a deal with Heyward to try and lessen the amount they would have to pay off his contract.
One of my friends posted this picture just now...Snowing in Chicago today. Going to be a cold game.
