***Official 2018-19 Transfer Thread***

Interested to see his list of suitors as a sit 1 play 1. Kid was a YouTube legend and was a top 40 recruit but didn’t do much in 3 years at UNC

Injuries and then getting recruited over hurt his career upto this point. Cole Anthony and A. Harris commiting to UNC this week paved the way for him to look elsewhere.

Some speculation he could end up as a grad transfer...

@CBB_Central Given how depleted the grad transfer point guard market is, Seventh Woods should have a long line if he is able to graduate early. He's still largely unproven as a starter, but all HM's in need of a PG would probably call.

I get that he is a UNC kid and former top 50 recruit. However, I would pass on him if it meant missing on one of the freshman we are recruiting. I would rather take the kid with 4 years to play and some upside, then Woods 2.5 PPG at UNC. Not really worth it. I think I am more intrigued that we could get a UNC transfer than anything.

Jeff Goodman is rating Tucker as the #2 best available grad transfer in the USA:

2) Rayjon Tucker, 6-5, 210, SG, Little Rock
Stats: 20.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 41% 3-pointers
Scout’s take: “Very, very athletic. Can shoot. Has some ball skills. Freak athlete.”
Schools: West Virginia (visited), Auburn (4-19), Memphis (4-25), North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa State, Kansas, Arkansas

Link to his Top 100 (50 grad transfers and 50 sit-outs): https://watchstadium.com/news/ranki...college-basketball-this-offseason-04-22-2019/

Camron Justice is #19 of the grad transfers.

Some fool named Shakur Juiston is number 4 :)

He also struggled with not being good at basketball.

Well, if you're going to make THAT your criterion ....

(Also, "Seventh" is such a bizarre name. I'd think you'd want to be no lower than "Fifth" if you're trying to be a BB starter).

Maybe his folks were thinking of these dudes:
Players who wear/wore number 7
  • Kelenna Azubuike.
  • Chauncey Billups.
  • Penny Hardaway.
  • Kyle Lowry.
  • Carmelo Anthony.
  • Peja Stojaković
  • Pete Maravich.
  • Kevin Johnson.

Carmelo didn't switch his number until after 2010...wouldn't line up.
