***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

Hmmm...
Alstork is planning visits.

@CoreyEvans_10 Pitt will play host to Wright State transfer Mark Alstork on May 5 for an official visit; immediately eligible in the fall
Pitt is a bit surprising just based off of all the guys they lose & the schools that contacted him.

Some rumors on Nebraska sites that there's one more transfer coming... Glynn Watson Jr.
6-0 guard. 13.0 ppg 3.0 rpg and 2.6 rpg. Sit 1 play 2. 4 star kid out of HS that held some pretty good offers.

I would have loved to have him this past year, but as a 3 for 2 and with all the other transfers? I almost think keeping a spot open would be as valuable.
I think you super slow play him, unless you can get him as a walk on. Never seem him play, so it may be unfair, but not impressive numbers. By the time he sits a year, he does not help space out our bigs. So, unless he is better than what we have, does he play? I would consider this option F.

I think he would still count against the 13 though I feel he was on full academic scholarship. Could be wrong though.
If he didn't have a basketball scholarship and he was on the team wouldn't he be considered a walk-on?

NU is getting cleaned out sorta like Memphis.. maybe not as bad and talent was a little greater at Memphis.

Shame shame on those people that were out there dogging the lack of quality transfers available this year a few weeks ago....... wait........ that was me......

Or some passionate fans that were getting anxious because our name wasn't on anyone's transfers list (yet) a while back....wait...that was me. But at least we can admit our shame....unlike others who just come out to bash others w/ their righteous ways.

Watson is really good, that would be the end of Miles if he transfers

I didn't think was much reason for concern with the post guys leaving because they were recruited over/didn't fit Miles's plan but Watson should raise some alarm. It's kind of odd though, Nebraska only lost one senior and would seemingly have been an improved team this year, with a lot of solid jrs and sophs. They must know Miles is gone, I'm surprised he hasn't McDermotted his way to a lesser job to avoid being fired.

Last year he lost Andrew White as well after he had a really good season. I think if Nebraska cared more about basketball he would have been gone already. Fortunately for him they don't.

The current list of immediately eligible 4s & 5s from the JC and Grad Transfer pool is extremely underwhelming like it was last season.

Who is the Plan B 4/5 behind Juiston? The known options really aren’t that appealing.

As of now our Plan B would be throwing Lard to the fire a la Solo last year and know that it'll be worth it for the following year.
