He is a really good defensive rebounder. Would be a solid pickup. I would think ISU would have a legit shot if those are the schools involved
How many times have we said that before.......? (But I get your point)

Worth a call, just for the name alone.
6-9 C Tafari whittingham will graduate from South Alabama & will have one year left as a 5th year grad student. Plans to take visits soon.

So I assume we'll hear pretty soon if any current Cyclones are planning to transfer, right? Figure guys probably know by now and I don't see much advantage for them from waiting.

Last transfer we got from there was a doozy!!!
I don't know... I'm 22 and Cato/Willoughby are my very earliest Cyclone memories and I'd be one of the younger posters on here I would think. I can remember going to SWCC in Creston during the summer of '97 (I would guess) when the team would do these scrimmages across the state. I was so excited to see Cato but I was young enough that I didn't understand that players graduate, go pro, etc. Cato wasn't there and I was one disappointed 4 year old. Paul Shirley was a nice guy though.I would say over half of the fanatics are not old enough to remember, Kelvin Cato!

Impressive memory. I'm 30 and Cato/Willoughby are the first Cyclones I truly remember seeing/following. I would have been 5 - 9 when Hoiberg played at Iowa State and only remember seeing him in the NBA and know of his college days from my dad and others. I don't think I remember anything from when I was 3 other than hearing stories from others.
I don't remember any actual games from that year. Memories of Iowa State actually playing would've been more towards Fizer, Tinsley but that's still vague. Going to see them at SWCC would be the very first memory of Cyclone basketball. All I know is that I liked Cato a lot and wanted to see him but was pretty disappointed when he wasn't there.Impressive memory. I'm young and my first memories were the Blalock and Stinson years.
