I really hope Mister remembers how much he liked ISU when he makes his decision. A player like that could really thrive in our system

To be fair, we are probably on similar levels recruiting wise. We've at least been to some bowls recently.

Uh...no. we fill our stadium have football fans and football facilities and a good coach and more recent success. They are on pae with ku. Good bball some hope.

Had to look it up.

Yahoo Sports: Rivals.com 2013 Team Recruiting Rankings

Last class Indiana ranked 38, 5 four star recruits. We were ranked 58 with 1 four star recruits. 2012 they were 66 and we were 87. 2011 we were ahead of them. 51 to 59.

And you have to go back all the way to 2004 for us to have a higher ranked class than Kansas.

Is he strictly a LB or would there be a chance to move to safety. I know the S&C program can bulk him up but seems a little small for a LB at 204.

I don't know about safety but he might be good in the hybrid role. No reason he can't put on 25 pounds though and be a linebacker. Keep in mind he still has a year to bulk up before even arriving on campus at his school and it's pretty typical for guys to put on weight between the end of their senior year and summer workouts since they can just focus on lifting. Obviously each guy's body type is different though so it varies.

What the heck are they doing with those guys, throwing them down a hole in the ground?

Stars aren't perfect and maybe the 4 stars they get are ones the elite programs see as borderline or not worth the risk give they can get equal or better players.

Wow.. . That is crazy. Makes rhoades look even more impressive as a coach. I guess the local talent factor plays in. I thought you were saying that they were as attractive today to a prosective recruit on an equal playing field (say from florida) but in rereading your original comment that isnt exactly what you said.

Yeah I'd say 204 is actually decent size for a hs lb. he wouldn't even show up on campus for another full year. 215 is not out of the question by next fall. No problem getting to 230 after 2 years in the program unless he has a real problem keeping weight on.
