Official 2014 Recruiting thread

According to an article on scout he has an incomplete top 5 of Colorado, Cal, Vanderbilt and TCU and it sounds like he's really high on the Buffs

Great to hear. A staff having a good reputation among high school coaches, especially in a state like Texas, is big
 
Don't have much on him, but we are recruiting/offered his teammate Kendric Young from Gainesville, FL. Young said that ISU was planning on offering Matt Solt too- Matt Solt
 
I LOVE following Klenakis on Twitter! He was a great addition to this coaching staff, I honestly think he will be one if the best additions Iowa State has ever made, right with CPR, CFH, and Wally.

Apparently Morrison blew it up at the same Rivals camp in St. Louis Lazard went to...
 
So Allen Lazard just tweeted that he was "wondering if ESPN would update their rankings, probe not #33" and Chris Hassle tweeted back saying "if you committed to Iowa, I could get you in the top 20" Lazard tweets back "sure if I committed to ND or Oregon, I would be top 10, ISU gets #nolove" and then goes onto say he "wants to take his own path, not the one society wants, if you want to stand out you have to be different" I think its great Lazard is standing up to these people and still feels so strongly committed to ISU

Sorry! I was on my phone, typing that out was a workout and my phone's auto-alignment kept messing up the entire post when I tried to put periods within the parentheses. Typically, I am a grammar Nazi when I am on my computer haha
 
Okay so I will admit, I did some Twitter creepin' on Allen Lazard, Sam Seonbuchner, and Gaelin Elmore just now. Seonbuchner tweeted that he'll be at the Texas game this fall. Elmore replied he'll be at the Texas game and the Iowa game. Seonbuchner replied he'll be at the Iowa game too. On top of that, those three tweet back and forth to each other all the time. We have two great TEs right now and it will show how we can use Elmore in our system. I love our chances with Elmore, especially with Lazard and Seonbuchner keeping in touch with him. This 2014 recruiting class could be special.
