***Official 2013 Bracketology Thread***

At least we lost to a tournament team. All these bubble teams losing against terrible teams like Mississippi State and BC are in a lot worse shape than us.

Pitt won, phew. Though as long as ISU beats OSU Wednesday, I think ISU is a lock barring lots of bubble chaos.
You are saying we can lose four of our last five games and get in?

The problem that is not covered by this lock list is if an Illinois State wins the MVC and then Creighton has to take an at large spot. This can happen in several conferences. We need two wins or we will be sweating giant bullets come the selection show.

Iowa non conf sos 320 (horrid) they may get to 9-9 but no good wins they play mich, msu, osu snd ill only one time. No road wins over top 100 only beating NW and psu rpi in 90s no chance unless they beat a big dog in big 10 tourney. Gottlieb is the only one saying this even big network won't mention iowa. DG likes to say crazy off the wall stuff. Iowa hasn't beat a team that was ranked when they played them all year

can't say for sure. Just rumors from Virginia fans. Anybody have Lunardi's class confirm?

I am in his class. I haven't received an e-mail with the update. I'm not sure how far Virginia will fall but it would have to be a decent amount. That is a bad loss.

Here's to Illinois beating Iowa on Tuesday to end any hopes of them getting an at-large NCAA bid once and for all.

Iowa can get to twenty wins with two victories at home against Illinois and Nebby. It is possible. Then the tournament. The last I looked we were stuck at 19.

The last I looked win totals don't matter to the selection committee. And the bigger number is 54 vs. 91.

Iowa won't make the tourney this year, but the Big 10 won't be nearly as good next year and Iowa only loses one player (Eric May) and its not like he's that hard to replace. They should be a very solid team next year.

If they win two more games their rpi would drop closer to 70 and then they would have the Indy tournament to do some damage. They are still in the hunt. If we had beat them, I would say they were totally out.

I thought the Iowa to NCAA talks were over. Iowa isn't sniffing the dance. Even Hawk fans realize this....ffs

Virginia still above the Iowa St. apparently(barely). 7 bad losses.
