If we were playing Texas tonight we would probably be a lot more focused. This is a much bigger game for ND than it is for ISU.
This ISU team lacks mental toughness and it has been obvious all year. Did anybody really expect them to be up for a 1-11 team with a possible ice storm trapping them all in the **** hole that is know as Ames, Iowa 3 days before x-mas?

I know this maybe comparing apples to oranges but, in high school I never lost focus in a game because I was thinking about Christmas break.
No question it has gone down. What has he done this year? Aren't you supposed to show improvement year to year?
Point two makes more sense than point one. With this team's mental toughness (or lack thereof) they will probably hang with a good team until the first sign of adversity, then buckle...
Again, what has been the excuse for fading against Iowa and Bradley? Holiday fever? Allowing Northwestern and UNI to force their will on us excuse?
I love this team but at the same time, I despise them. These guys can and should be so much better, I don't care if it's December 22nd or February 22nd - play the damn game with some effort and discipline!
