I know he struggled for a while at the end, but a guy like David Shaw would make sense there. Knows how to be successful at an elite academic institution.

If they want to go cheap, the Miami of Ohio coach (Brian Kelly tree) could make sense.
They've only had three coaches since 1992 (31 seasons): Barnett, Walker and Fitz.
That’s what I was thinking when I saw the news on espn at a restaurant.
Either Northwestern knew it was bad, and tried to downplay it; and the media attention forced their hand. Or they just completely screwed it up.
That stadium is far and away the worst P5 stadium. The place is just an absolute dump.
The student newspaper too. After they didn’t take their university at face value after the suspension and release of the summary from the independent report. Pretty amazing journalism.
