If people predict Iowa to be 4th next year in the B1G...the conference is not completely loaded

Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan, and Michigan State will all start the season ranked for sure. Wisconsin somehow always finds ways to win. Minnesota will take a step back, and Illinois likely will too (although Groce has apparently recruited pretty well). But Iowa and Purdue are both popular picks to move up, and Penn State won't be a slouch next year, either. With Frazier, Newbill, and Marshall in the backcourt, I wouldn't be totally shocked if they found a way to sneak into the Dance as an 11 or 13 seed.

Yeah, I think people that have picked Iowa to be ahead of Indiana either don't know college basketball/recruiting or are named Jon Miller

Yeah the east is still better, but the Big 10 is completely loaded right now in basketball.

Let's also keep this in perspective. The Big 10 had a good year in basketball last season, preceded by a decade of below-average basketball. Let's see if last season was a blip or a trend.

A decade of below average basketball? According to who? Since 2000, they have had FIVE different programs play in the NC game, with 6 total appearances. Yeah, talk about below-average basketball. I'm too lazy to look it up, but I'm pretty sure they have the most final 4 teams since 2000 as well, although the ACC might have more. About the only negative is a poor record in the NC game.
