That was a polite way of saying that they are butt ugly. The blackout or Nike anthracite look has been done much better by several programs.
I will take a new uni every week, I realize that would mean that there will probably be some that I don't like, but I wouldn't care if they wore tuxedos if it meant they were winning football games.
I like them, but on TV you can't make out the names of players or the "Iowa State" on front, which kind of defeats the purpose of promoting the university when a casual fan tuning in had no idea who is playing
ISU seems to fk up a good thing somehow
If only there were decals on helmets or scoreboards on the screen with team names or announcers saying who was playing every 15 seconds...

I wouldn't mind white names or a white Iowa State, but I can turn to any random game and figure out who is playing in about 10-seconds, tops.

It wasn't that, it's the fact that you dig at Iowa state football. I don't dig the negativity.
If you can't gather the information of what team is playing from the front of the jersey, I'm not exactly sure where else you would be able to receive that info. I mean, I guess you could figure it out from the built in television guide, constant on screen scoreboard, announcers, massive lettering on the field or even in a pinch the thousands of people with 'ISU' clothing being shown in the crowd, but that's all much more difficult than just reading the jersey.
I honestly never know when I'm actually watching Alabama play football.
I don't see how me saying that I like the trying different uniforms this year, just not the uniforms, is a dig at the program.
I can see how much you hate negativity. You immediately telling me to shut up is so positive of you. I'm sure you are a thrill to have a normal conversation with. Enjoy the second half.
Casual fans watching on TV arent reading jerseys to see who is playing when there's a scoreboard on the screen with "IOWA ST" in big letters
Also, no casual fan is watching this game anyway
