Nice looking Uniforms

The dark grey is the color of storm clouds. Kick it up a notch and put in a subtle cloud pattern; hell, throw in a twister for good measure.

That was my thought as well...although, like other people said...we didn't have the time for Nike to do something like that. I would like just a subtle cloud pattern behind them, similar to what TCU likes to do with the 'frog skin' texture.

Now that we have some options I want to mix it up some.

I would like to see the new white helmet with the charcoal jerseys and white pants or

White helmet/cardinal jersey/ white pants similar to OSU here

It looks like Campbell intends to shake it up and join the alternate universe full-on. As one of the "old fan" demographic, I'm completely on-board with it. Sometimes, it will mean I'll love one look and dislike another; somebody else will feel the opposite. It comes with the territory.

My assessment so far:
All-white is clean & sharp.
Hate this one.

More "old" people liked the look than younger people from what I have surmised. CW's stupid comments on the radio are why he can only be a partial voice of the Cyclone fan base- he is too disconnected if he makes a dumb comment like that.

I LOVED the look last Saturday although the gold lettering and gold number with red trim would have popped the numbers and name better.

The players were expecting to go with white bottoms-gold jersey and white helmets on Saturday (equip video and Cy's attire prior to game also confirm this as likely). I would expect that look this week now.

No complaints here! I thought Coach C. was going to mix it up, and it looks like he is. Nothing unexpected.

Didn't hear CW's radio comments so can't really comment on his intent. But to just bust on "old people" is stupid. Most times the problem is "old thinking". I see it every day at work. Young people, old people, middle aged people can all get trapped into certain paradigms very quickly. Drives me crazy when people think things HAVE to be a certain way because, "that's the way it's always been."
