New Uniforms

I have a feeling they would be really ugly. I think the gold jerseys can be cool for basketball but they have to be done right. For the record I really don't like Maryland's gold uni's either. I really hope they don't do this.

Since when did white become one of our colors? I suppose maybe we should switch to a navy blue uniform with red lettering while we're at it?

Exactly.... one of our colors... white goes with anything... its not like were adding some extra color(navy) because its a color we already use.... (jerseys, white jackets) btw the white Iowa state windbreakers are very classy

Alternate jerseys seem to be a kiss of death for football teams, hope its as sure a win as we think. I would like to see what it could look like but don't think I would like it.

dont know till i see it, sounds gross, but with the cardinal accents on the unis it could work with the helmets?

And I never want white helmets, thats nebby claim red/white. we are cardinal/gold.
now if we had gold flake helmet and shiney gold accents? id like to see that first too.

The NCAA actually changed the rule this year, allowing teams to wear dark colored jerseys on the road.

What about the other 50 teams that wear white helmets and as far as I'm concerned Neb is no longer a part of our conference. Plus, ours would be white with cardinal and gold I-state not red

No, white really isn't one of our colors. Just because it is an NCAA rule that the away jerseys are white does not make white one of ISU's colors.

but thats not our tradition, and most all these teams also then wear white pants or something. ill admit it would look good on our away jerseys but not for me, ok?

Part of this stems from the "cheese it" this is what I want and blah blah blah..
