New Uniforms

I have heard that the Cyclones will be sporting brand new GOLD uniforms this saturday against Kansas. They will be wearing the cardinal helmets along with the gold pants. Has anyone else heard about this and/or what are your thoughts about it?

I like it. I would have to see it, but I think it is a good idea, similar to the basketball uniforms.

I would like to see us go with something a little more unique like this, to get away from the USC look. But I doubt it happens. Doesn't make sense to do it this late in the season, and not on television.

I'm totally game for that. The way I'm seeing this in my head would be something like the old yellow unis for men's basketball. Kind of like what Maryland wears at home now a days. I think that'd look pretty cool.

I have a hard time believing this. I would think that if we broke out gold-alternate uniforms, we'd likely do that next week against Nebraska. Home games against Nebraska tend to be designated as "Gold Rules" games.

Since when did white become one of our colors? I suppose maybe we should switch to a navy blue uniform with red lettering while we're at it?

They would make more sense against nebraska. And if this was true, with the game not on tv, this would have been made common knowledge by JP as another reason to get into the stadium!
