Yep. I'm okay with the White & Black unis I think the all red ones look terrible.
They are pretty good really, classic and clean with just a touch of modern. The players will love these compared to what they had.
Cardinals jerseys look like they were designed by someone that's posted a thousand Microsoft Paint renditions of Iowa State's uniforms.
I'm not sure how often they will use the all-red (really the w/r/r). They might go w/r/w fairly often, who knows.

I'm not sure how long you've been a fan, but when I grew up, we had the darker cardinal and the darker sunflower gold. Somebody who was brain dead gave us a brighter red/cardinal and the current yellow/gold, in about 1983. Around 2007, we went back to a darker cardinal (it's fine now), but did nothing to get us back our historic sunflower gold.
I might be in a vast minority, but I liked the Trice throwback uni’s. (Except for the fact that we lost the game!)
I partially agree with you. I liked the design of that throwback uni, but I think the materials/fabric are what made them look cheap. Looked like the same material as my middle school practice uniform compared to the fabric the regular jerseys have. I think that is why the Ohio State throwback that is similar looks slightly better.
I think a better effort on the numbers and helmets would have made a difference
Whenever teams try to make throwbacks with the same colors and material that would have been used in the original uniforms they look silly on modern pads and helmets. Brown pants for the sake of authenticity is kinda silly imo. A cool uniform with elements of the old one as a homage is what works.

But, I don't think Rutgers really pulled off the long sleeve jersey
Yeah those look pretty good. The Wisconsin brown pants look more 49ers gold to me.
