New Uniforms Revealed

Lips are sealed pretty tight on this. Uniforms won't be a repeat of 2013 or anything Kagavi created. Expecting something with Iowa State College or Ames on the uniforms with some simple colors.

The circle A or the interlocking ISC could be cool! Or even the arched AMES.

Having to keep in line with the jersey rules makes any early 20th century throwback hard. They are required to have numbers a certain size (8-10 inches I think) on the front and back, so where do you put it and make it look good on this uniform?

Can't they ask for an exception for an historic occasion such as this 100th anniversary of Jack Trice's death?

It seems like there should be one-off exceptions for number size, at least reasonable variance, maybe require the opponent to give approval or something.

Just don't do the shiny gold/material and they won't look as cheap. There's already a perfect way to do gold and it's the 49ers. Start from that pallet and the uniforms will be fine. I'm assuming red will still be a big part of this since it was prominently featured in the video. Our cardinal red with the 49ers gold would look pretty cool

Just because it is accurate, does not mean it is a good look. The red on yellow/grey is hard to read, and the brown/yellow/brown is just a bad look. Plus there is no chance they use one of their helmet options for the year on a one-off brown helmet.

We are all being much too cerebral here. Therefore, they will throw out all the rules. We will get a gold helmet (and not our gold), gold uniform (not our gold), some type of retro logo and a super small number, and no facemasks. But we will make a statement. Then we will get beat badly in the game. The 'no facemasks' turned out to be a horrible move, and half our team was injured.

That 49ers Tan is not Gold. Its tan and its gross. If you want to to gold it needs to be more like the metallic gold on some of our logos, with more yellow tone. The tan that the 49ers, BC, etc use is terrible.

We had the gold right back in the 70's. How about we just use that? The sunflower gold. The 49'ers gold is fine but it is not us.
