New Uniforms Revealed

So far, it's roughly 2-to-1 in favor of All-black and W-W-C.
I voted the opposite. .... B-B-B probably is a better look that W-C-W, I'm favoring the school colors, I know BBB will win.
W-W-C is sharp, but C-W-C is our best look.
I like the all blacks, but they're going to eliminate my two favorite combos in back-to-back weeks so now I'm bitter about it.
Still a solid look, but I agree it has lost impact ... growing a bit stale.
Ideas for an upgrade:
* Replace the black helmet with a white one -- make the I-State logo cardinal & gold
* Change the jersey to cardinal, with gold numeral or white trimmed in gold (jersey could be white for road games)
* Pants -- cardinal, gold or white, depending on home/ away and jersey/helmet match.
I admit it isn't a perfect solution, but overall it could refresh the black uniform.
I still think you could incorporate some cardinal- I always use Louisville as an example
Looks like they are experimenting w/ a couple of different stripes to the white helmet. If they do commit to a stripe on the whte helmet, they need to make it darker, as the red one here looks much lighter that the red numbers. It needs to be darker! Details!
And red/black. I'd be OK, I guess, if they used a red/very dark red middle. Black? No. They already made that mistake w/ the black collars a couple of years ago.

I believe the stripes have a meaning and are only for practice
I thought having the head stripe accented in practice was to help w/ coaching (where are players looking).
Stripes are almost certainly to identify players &/or position groups, sometimes also used to tell where a player is looking on film - in the pics from this spring, almost all indicate they are marking defensive players
